Florida-based singer-songwriter Michelle Langone has created some spine-tingling songs throughout the last three years, all of which have earned her many fans. Her latest track, ‘Home Reimagined,’ is yet another example of her capability. However, the artist makes the critical point that everything she does revolves around opening one’s heart to faith, love, and healing.
Michelle Langone has shared her latest song, ‘Home Reimagined,’ as she continues to be one of the most distinctive songwriters of the moment.
The Florida artist’s new release is the latest example of Michelle using music to explore deeper themes related to faith and love before packaging these explorations to her audience as songs. ‘Home Reimagined’ is a remaking of Michelle’s 2022 song ‘Home’ (one of the first songs she ever released). For this new version, the artist teamed up with one of her closest collaborators, EDM legend Jake Neumar of BHAVIOR Music, who sharpened the original and gave it a glorious new electronic layer. Michelle’s unique, classically trained voice stays front-and-centre in this new release, but the production provides these vocals more power than ever.
As an artist, Michelle has been consistent in her goal of trying to use music to promote empowerment. In a 2023 interview with The Musician’s Hub, her music was described as “more than a blend of influences and genres: a call to empowerment, a plea for unity, and an expression of hope. [I want my] music to serve as a rallying point for those searching for courage, love, and inner peace.”
This idea of her music being a “rallying point” has persisted into 2024. When talking about her latest song, ‘Home Reimagined,’ Michelle doesn’t just focus on the creative work that went into it; she’s also quick to mention the spirituality that underpins the song. Michelle says that ‘Home Reimagined’ was partly inspired by a biblical quote from Jeremiah,
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
Combining music with faith and spirituality feels very natural for Michelle. You could argue that the whole basis for Michelle creating music is to explore deeper matters of the heart and soul.
Fans who have followed Michelle will no doubt be pleased by the news that the artist is set to release her debut full-length album later this year. The LP, titled From My Soul To Yours, will be shared with the world on November 1, 2024.
In the meantime, she has set herself the challenge of releasing a new single each month throughout the coming year. She has also shared a music video for ‘Home Reimagined,’ which was directed by her long-time friend and closest visual collaborator, Angelica Bourland, founder of The Miami Film Network, with the help and expertise of award-winning underwater photographer/cinematographer Phoebe Fitz.
