Treese is a rising star in the world of hip hop and R&B. Born and raised in the D.M.V, she has always had a passion for music. The young artist is a mother of two children who understands the importance of leading by example. When she had her first child, she realized that she could no longer just rely on her words to guide her child. She had to lead by example and set a good example for her child to follow. “Parents are often seen as infallible beings by their children. They always know what to do, they never make mistakes, and they always have the answer. But of course, this isn’t true. Parents are just people, and people make mistakes all the time. What’s important is that my children learn from their mistakes and grow from them. I try to instill this lesson in my children by being honest with them about my own mistakes. I tell them about the times I’ve messed up, and how I’ve learned from those experiences. I also tell them that they shouldn’t be afraid to make their own mistakes – that’s how we learn and grow. By being open and honest about my own flaws, I hope to encourage my children to be the same.” This meant that she had to be more mindful of her own actions and words. She also had to be more patient and understanding. Having two children, she realizes that this is even more important. Her leadership sets an example that her children can see what it means to be a good person. Otherwise, they will never know how to be good people themselves. Why is why she is always driven to succeed and works hard at pursuing her dreams and aspirations.
“If I could collaborate with anyone, dead or alive, it would have to be Beyonce. She is an incredible actress, humanitarian, and fashion icon, and I feel like we could really bounce off each other creatively. Plus, she has great taste in collaborators – she works with some of the biggest names in the business. And I think we could bring out the best in each other!”
