If TikTok is anything to go by, Nairobi-born artist Ari Mediratta has grown a significant fan base in just over a year. The singer, who boasts over 600k followers on the platform alone, found success after releasing a series of pristinely produced pop singles that deal with love, heartbreak, and relationships in today’s modern world.
Having fallen in love with music from a young age, Ari travelled from Kenya to the UK in his teenage years, where he undertook his studies and began embracing his flair for playing and making music. He had always been considered a promising talent, but his journey to stardom took him worldwide – from Africa to the UK to the US – to reach where he is today.
